Based on this analysis we will make recommendations regarding program elements and features that may not be getting enough attention. We will provide a written report and present the findings to your landscape committee and board of directors.
General Site Evaluation Includes:
- Overall health and condition of landscaping is assessed and evaluated
- Opportunities to improve and manage the ecology of the landscape are identified
- Opportunities to improve management priorities and cost effectiveness are evaluated.
- Recommendations to improve the environmental health and vitality of the landscape are reported

Annual Hazard Evaluation: Zimar & Associates, Inc. will conduct a thorough review of your landscape to identify any obvious or potential landscape liabilities and provide a report with recommendations for mitigating any problems identified.
Annual Hazard Evaluation Includes:
- Potential safety issues are located and identified, including: potential tree hazards, hardscape conflicts, clearance issues, and lines of site.
- Recommendations are provided for mitigating any safety issues identified.

Ecological Audit: Zimar & Associates will evaluate the ecology of your site to identify areas that could be improved to make your landscape more sustainable and Chesapeake Bay friendly. We will provide a report with recommendations to reduce erosion, nutrient laden run-off, reliance on herbicides and pesticides, and other environmental stresses by creating more sustainable systems. Recommendations will be directed at developing ecological systems that improve the environment while reducing the need for maintenance input.
Ecological Audit Includes:
- Evaluation of all landscape areas to improve sustainability and reduce environmental impact
- Opportunities to reduce maintenance costs using ecological approaches are evaluated and reported
- Identification of exotic and invasive plants with control strategies
- Identification of wildlife habitat potential and recommendations for improvement
- Run-off review to see where your water is going and if it is causing erosion with recommendations for improving undesirable conditions.
- Review of fertilization and pesticide regimes with IPM recommendations.

Comprehensive Management Plan: Zimar & Associates, Inc. will perform a detailed inventory of your landscape resources and develop an integrated management plan that improves cost effectiveness and reduces environmental impact while enhancing the overall value of the property.

- Complete inventory of all major plants and ecological communities.
